Today we read Home and Away by John Marsden and discussed what we would do if Australia was invaded. We discussed the plight of refugees and how the current political leaders have said they will deal with the issue of "boat people".John Marsden presents two views on this scenario in his book and the upcoming film, "Tomorrow When the War Began".
I have read all of the tomorrow when the war began books and i really enjoyed them and i would recomend them for both boys and girls but they are a really enjoyable book and i cant wait to see the movie haha if anyone is a tiny bit interested in the books i recommend reading them because as soon as i started i got sucked into them they are such a good book hehe anyway....
